A WAR THAT BRINGS AN END TO ALL

The First World War has been a very interesting and mysterious event throughout the history of the fictional stories. Because of the limited evidence of that day, the events that occurred in the First World War were reflected in a distorted manner by many nations when they were transmitted to new generations. Game makers have so far committed a great deal of war in the Second World War theme. World War I was not a preferred period for the producers because it had the limited weapon option and a black box feature. DICE, one of the biggest companies in the game world, decided to put an end to this confusion and to come up with a World War I Battlefield.

In fact, everyone was astonished when the game was first announced. Weeks or months ago, perhaps a possible rumor that the First World War began to circulate around, but none of us did not expect this theme to operate in a certain manner. It was both very unique and very few, and it would be a harsh job to accustom players who were accustomed to the futuristic war theme to World War I because of today’s FPS games.

Battlefield, which we’ve always known with gigantic multiplayer mode, and which buyers have already bought for this mod, comes out with a predominantly scenario mode that we encounter for the first time. Of course, there was a script in the previous Battlefield games, but DICE didn’t advertise these scenarios properly, nor did they really care. This time scenario mode is both advertised and you can understand how much weight is given even when you first enter the game. So, unlike the other Battlefield games, this is not a classic entry menu, but rather the first task of scenario mode directly. Now, let me tell you about the multiplayer mode.

MULTIPLAYER WORLD WAR 1

In this new multiplayer mode called Operations, the already large scale of Conquest and Domination maps is moved to a much larger size, and presents us a real battle map to the players. Normally, when you enter a conquest game, you win or lose; that’s a little bit of work in Operations. You are not participating in the match but directly in front of the battle. As you are an aggressive or defensive party in a number of interconnected big maps, you perform the task on the map. By adding this mode to the game, DICE has made the feeling of war more simulation-based and has created long-term, professional matches.

If you are an attacking party, you are trying to take over the region where the enemy is defending and keep it for a while. If you capture the region exactly, defensive enemies go to the next zone within the same facade and continue to defend from there. In this way you try to take over the entire front by occupying the areas where the enemy is trying to protect. Normally we were accustomed to the popularization of the modes of Conquest and Supremacy, but we see that Operations is going to be a huge competition.

In addition to the operations, we are also familiar with other multiplayer modes from previous Battlefield games. We have a new game mode, War Pigeons, as well as Raid, Conquest, Team Deathmatch and Domination modes. In this new mode, we need to find messenger pigeons placed on the map and send messages to the reinforcement artillery unit to destroy the enemies. You will understand that it does not have a very complex structure. Other modes are all the same except for minor changes.

Of course, Battlefield 1’s greatest innovation in terms of multiplayer mode is the theme of the game. In the game where new or futuristic weapons are no longer used, new weapons never look back. The new weapons, which are fully modeled according to the real weapons used by the Alliance in the First World War and the Allied Powers, will evolve as they are used in the old Battlefield games and be strengthened with various equipment. The biggest prejudice for Battlefield 1 was that it would no longer be as fluent as new weapons. So he was afraid that he would be a little slow. But you get peace of mind. That’s how DICE works so well, even though the guns seem to be heavy, they offer a smooth and fast gameplay. Of course, your weapon selection has a big impact on this.

RUN INTO HELL

One of the most memorable aspects of World War I was undoubtedly how close the attack was. DICE has adhered to this real concept and has made the close attacks very effective in the game. So, thanks to the newly added movement, if you have a bayonet attached to your weapon, you can start running more than one speed and pass the bayonet directly to your enemy’s body and make a close attack. But there are disadvantages as well as the advantages of this movement. After running too fast and stabbing the bay, your character can’t run fast for a while. This makes you vulnerable to attack, even if you are open to easy bait.

There is another important detail I would like to add about the multi-player. In fact, this feature was also in the previous Battlefield games, but here again need to touch. There is an excellent active weather system in the game. You can see your enemy comfortably in the sunshine per day and you can be seen easily by your enemy. Suddenly a storm can occur due to changing weather events and can suddenly make the eye blind. By using the strategic advantages of this situation, you can act secretly from your enemies and hunt for surprise. However, you should also pay attention to these attacks. They can’t see you, but you can’t see them either.

Everyone had a really great hopelessness about Battlefield 1’s scenario mode. The next generation of Battlefield 3 and 4 cannot be said to be very successful in terms of story. Since I really don’t really care about Hardline, I can’t make any comments about the story of that game, but I can tell that Hardline didn’t do very well on the basis of the comments of the playing group. Normally I wouldn’t expect a story from the new Battlefield. OK, they do, it’s okay, but it usually doesn’t have much effect since a few bored scenes ended up quickly. We were playing as a kind of warm-up tour without going into multi-player mode.

Things change so much in Battlefield 1 that DICE has finally succeeded in what it had never been able to do, or what it didn’t do. The Battlefield is a really catchy, deep and up-to-date script mode. When you start the game, you enter the scenario mode directly without encountering any menu. On a dark front, you are trying to survive by going between the soldiers who have lost the last light of hope. This is in a way an introduction video of Battlefield 1. The only difference is that we play instead of watching. If you die in any way in the first part of the game does not start from the recording point, directly into the body of another soldier and allows you to continue the war. So DICE tells you how easy and sudden it is to die in battle, and how cruel you are.

Already in the game’s advertising campaigns, and in this first part, DICE is brutally undermining the fact that the war does not cause anything other than great losses and more war. It shows us that all the battles of years, even the First World War, which was supposed to end the war in the future, could not finish anything, and that it led to much larger battles in a cruel and bloody way. You do not have a fixed task in this section.

The only thing you requested is to survive. In the meantime, you can see the scenes coming from the screen and you can see how the soldiers are in a deep shell shock trauma. If you don’t know what this is, I can simply explain it. The vast majority of soldiers who participated in the First World War were previously warless; the majorities were inexperienced and young. This inexperienced soldier is on the battlefield under the influence of ruthless bombs falling on the bottom of his ears and shells passing through the bottom of his ears, and either enters a sound trauma or crouches down where he is, or starts to walk around the front like a rambling, drunk, or hopelessly. Look carefully at the soldiers around you at Battlefield 1’s entrance scene. You will notice the shock effect.

THE REAL FACE OF WAR

We’re telling you about the brutal aspects of war, and I’m going to talk about something that still affects that detail. The majority of the battles that occurred in the First World War took place on open fronts. If we had made this game a company that did not give importance to real items, we could encounter a lot of trench area and walls that we could use for protection on the battlefield. But DICE has passed it. On the battlefield, there is no wall or a wall to cover hundreds of bullets. You stand facing the enemy without any obstacles between you and the first shooter or the first target survives. Simple, but cruel.

DICE didn’t put a simple Hollywood story on us this time. The opposite is almost a documentary game. If you do not count the entrance section, there are five different story sections. These five separate sections have three to four sub-sections. The characters we play in each of the five story sections have different personalities and features.

In one episode, we play a British soldier while trying to take the defective tank to the other front. I really like DICE’s emphasis on character development in this context. In the previous Battlefield games, the characters we managed and shoulder-shoulder warring with us were not catchy, they were unclear, trivial characters. In Battlefield 1, both the characters we manage and the characters we fight next to are real-world history, so DICE has started to create a much more detailed character. The characters we manage don’t feel like a robot anymore. Each of them has its own story and the will. Each one is prepared to give his life for his own nation.

Investigate the maps you are in during your adventure in the scenario mode. With Battlefield 1, which doesn’t offer a single level of gameplay compared to previous Battlefield games, the maps you’re going to fight through in scenario mode are now very large. It is entirely up to you to choose your approach in these maps, which give enemies the chance to dive into the basement or silently or secretly. Privacy can really lead to life, you know. Look around on these great maps. Because you can find the Field Guides you can use in multiplayer mode in these maps.

The sound effect of music and war is really amazing. This time DICE is worthy of the misty atmosphere of Battlefield 1, sometimes with sad, sometimes promising music. Music never breaks the atmosphere of the game, and it doesn’t reveal itself, it puts you in a wonderful atmosphere.

If I come to the last words, I can say that Battlefield 1 is a much better game than I expected. I had doubts about both multi-player and scenario mode, but DICE wiped them all. Battlefield 1 offers a very high quality experience this time. It doesn’t have to say that the multi-player mode has great tastes. See you at the front!
